The railway is a great day out for all ages. Most days we will be operating steam, but we reserve the right to operate diesel when staffing or available equipment dictate. There are picnic benches at the railway and alongside the lake and most operating days Platform 2 cafe will also be open which has its own dedicated seating area for cafe customers.
Toilets are available for railway and cafe customers use at the far end of Platform 2. Public Toilets are available at Rudyard Lake.
The railway is dog friendly and dogs are welcome on the trains provided they remain on a lead and keep off the seats.
Tickets are available from the Ticket Office on Platform 1 when open, or otherwise can be purchased from the guard on the train.
